WSU Global Campus eCareer Fair

Global Campus students can explore new employment opportunities as WSU launches its first online career fair on April 17.

Attending the fair is a good idea for almost any online student. It’s an opportunity to connect with employers to learn more about their companies and industries, plus it gives students a chance to work on their networking skills.

Employers will be looking for both part-time and full-time employees, as well as offering internships. Once the fair opens, students can visit the employers in separate virtual rooms; some employers may want to set up interviews or even interview students on the spot.

The fair will be 2-4:30 p.m. PT April 17. Students are asked to register in advance.

Students will need a computer that allows Java applications, a webcam and microphone/headset. Students should also have resumes ready to send by email, and dress professionally.

There will be about a dozen employers participating. You can find employer information in CougSync.

Also check out information in CougSync about the resume critique session from noon-2 April 16.

Take care,
Chris
